Spotify Positioning: the global audio platform

The transition to a new year now also includes looking back at your year in music. Spotify has created a marketing concept called ‘Spotify Wrapped’ for this, which has become very popular with listeners in a short time.

We started talking about Spotify because Ties gets quite excited about this tradition and thought it was high time to take an investigative look at the world of music streamers. We discuss how the music industry hasn’t changed that much compared to the past, but also what big steps have been taken to make music more accessible to a larger audience. We look at the big names like Apple Music and Spotify, their position in this landscape, ways they differentiate themselves (or not?), but also at the future of music streaming and the arrival of A.I. in this landscape.
