We are pleased to introduce our new colleague Kirsten!

The essential connection as project manager

Since November 2022, Kirsten has been working as a project manager at Merkelijkheid. Many of our partners have already met our new “spider in the web.” As a project manager, she is the essential link between our internal organization and these clients. It is evident that with Kirsten, we have brought in a real go-getter and driver. In this message, we would like to introduce Kirsten to you further.

A new job and a new home

Kirsten lives with her boyfriend and their blended family in Castricum. They have just bought a house together in the picturesque Heiloo, and the move is imminent. It is clear that some renovation still needs to be done in their new home. Such a renovation is not entirely unfamiliar territory for Kirsten. For the past seven years, she worked as a project manager at an interior design & custom work organization in Amsterdam. In her role as project manager, she acted as the connector between the designers, builders, and clients.

Kirsten graduated as an all-round stylist (Bachelor of Arts) from the Artemis academy, and her design experience and familiarity with (design) programs have already proven to be valuable in her new role.

“In the beginning, I still had to get used to all the new information that came at me quite quickly. At the same time, I got a lot of energy from all these new tasks, colleagues, and clients. After a few months, more and more is falling into place, and I really enjoy the variety in work as well as the different clients. Recently, I was on location for a photoshoot at a progressive construction company, where we get to create a new brand after the merger. The next day, I immerse myself again in the world of a supplier active in ornamental horticulture. In short, no day is the same! I am really looking forward to not only streamlining the information and tasks in the coming period but also contributing to the growing organization.”
