About Sam

At Merkelijkheid, we are pleased to welcome Sam van Dalen as a new member of our team. Sam is a creative junior marketer with extensive experience on platforms like TikTok. Since joining in June 2023, Sam has immediately shown what he is capable of. For example, the TikTok channel of ‘not a penguin’, the Merkelijkheid podcast, was built from zero to over 400 followers, nearly 13k likes, and over half a million views within just a few days! We are now applying this knowledge and experience for our B2B clients as well, with the first client projects for short form edits and distribution already completed.

A true barista!

Sam has completed a music education and is very involved with music himself. Since joining Merkelijkheid, this has become more of a private hobby. It’s great to see that his passion and experience with music are immediately useful when it comes to content creation for Merkelijkheid’s clients. Music plays a huge role in the experience of video content.

Sam lives in Wormerveer with his girlfriend. At home, Sam is becoming a true barista. He recently purchased a Barista Express from Sage and is busy perfecting his coffee-making techniques. We hope to experience these unique skills at Merkelijkheid soon!

The dachshund flu

Within Sam’s family, there seems to be a real “dachshund flu.” His parents have no less than two dachshunds, his brother has one, and even his father-in-law has one, bringing the total to four. Gradually, Sam himself is starting to develop a love for this special dog breed. Who knows, he might soon become a proud dachshund owner too!
