DTP/Designer Frank Petiet starts working at Merkelijkheid

Since early October, we have expanded our team with DTP/Designer Frank. From the start, he was able to join ongoing projects and is now in full swing. A brief introduction to this talent in the field of brand identity:

Designer merkelijkheidQuality in DTP and design

“When I started working in the graphic sector in 2003, I decided to first become technically strong and from there develop into a good, independent designer. I am a team player with a great passion for the craft and a strong drive for personal development. Because I have worked at various companies over the years, each with its own place in the chain, I am an all-round designer and have a good overview of the entire graphic process. And that’s great, because it only makes the design better.

Besides my job, I have been a small entrepreneur with my own company since 2011, partly to build an interesting personal portfolio, partly to support local non-profit initiatives. For example, last year I worked for Bevrijdingspop, ‘Haarlem, drawn by the night’ and I drew a medieval city map of Haarlem’s city center. What I enjoy about starting at Merkelijkheid now is working within a young, dynamic team and the no-nonsense informal atmosphere. Within Merkelijkheid, I can apply my graphic expertise and, together with my colleagues, build brands (and their expressions) at a particularly high, professional level. Quickly switching with your team, brainstorming, building and delivering, ensuring that everyone’s qualities come into their own and that you see that in the final product. If that succeeds and I shut down my computer at the end of the day with a satisfied feeling, that is wonderful work.

Outside of my work as a designer, I am an avid runner and (holiday) cyclist.”
