Acquisition of Website Builder by Merkelijkheid

At the end of 2019, an agreement was reached for the acquisition by Merkelijkheid B.V. of all activities and goodwill of website builder Jensd.nl from Heerhugowaard. This acquisition was completed on January 2, 2020.

Since its founding in 2015, Jensd.nl has developed more than 100 websites. With this acquisition, Merkelijkheid strengthens its capacity and expertise in website development. Existing customers of Jensd.nl have been served by Merkelijkheid since January 2020 and immediately benefit from a broader range of marketing services.

We are pleased that a large portion of the former Jensd.nl customers are now using broader marketing services. Especially in the field of online marketing (SEO/SEA/Content Marketing) with the goal of generating more traffic and conversions, agreements have now been made.

Through the acquisition of Jensd.nl, the management of Merkelijkheid has been expanded with Jens Diepenhorst. The management of Merkelijkheid now consists of 3 people. They expect, partly due to this acquisition but especially due to organic growth, further growth in portfolio and number of FTEs in 2020.
